Wine and Dine Mum this Mother’s Day

It's your turn to treat Mum to a drink, because after all, you're the reason she drinks... kidding. This Sunday, pull out all the stops and get ready to wine and dine your Mum on "her" day and show her just how much she means to you.

Start Mum’s day with some fresh blooms from the Flower Trap on James Street, Fortitude Valley. As the resident florist, Flower Trap has an incredible range of fresh flowers sourced from local growers, fresh every day.

Then it’s time to fuel up ahead of a big day. So grab a delicious coffee and some cake from King Arthur Cafe on Arthur Street before hitting James Street, where Mum can spend the day soaking up the sun whilst doing a bit of retail therapy or relaxation!

Arc + Family is a must see for some beautifully unique and colourful gifts, notably their hand painted pots. Ash & Ben are the husband and wife team behind Arc + Family, the most Instagram-worthy store you will ever come across, situated at 85 James Street.

What Mum doesn’t like a bit of pampering? Head to Conscious.Kin, a beautifully serene space that offer a variety of cruelty-free, natural and organic skincare, makeup and body products. Their focus is on ethical, transparent and sustainable brands – most of which are Australian.

It must be time for lunch by now? Which is all sorted right here at the Osbourne Hotel! Treat Mum to lunch with an exquisite three course menu created by Head Chef Ben King, including a glass of Rosé by Champagne GH Mumm for only $55.

Our pick for main would have to be the house wood-smoked Salmon with potato galette and celeriac apple slaw. The dessert alone will tick all the right boxes: chocolate – tick, macarons – tick, white chocolate crumb – say no more! Salivating? Then grab your tickets here.

Keep on kicking on afterwards with our extensive list of wines, spirits and craft beers on tap.

If you’re feeling overly generous, why not treat Mum to a night at TRYP Hotel right next door after a day of exploring Fortitude Valley’s incredibly vibrant culture. You’ll be her favourite in no time.
