Anzac Day at the Osbourne 2018

Join us for ANZAC Day in the Backyard of the Osbourne

23 April

The Backyard

Commemorate this ANZAC Day at the Osbourne and honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) and all brave soldiers who served for our country.

Our doors will open from 12pm serving food and drink in the Bistro. After lunch, try your luck with a fun game of Two-Up in the Backyard from 2pm; a traditional Australian gambling game. Stay with us into the evening as the sun sets with live music from 4pm and grab all the sporting action from Collingwood V Essendon (AFL), Dragons V Roosters (NRL), Storm V Warriors (NRL).

Newstead Brewing Co will be donating Karma Kegs to our chosen cause for the day; the Survive To Thrive Nation Organisation who offer a Post War Survive to Thrive Program – the world’s first Mental Health and Transitioning Success online coaching program which provides peer support and mentoring to service families and first responders.

Your generous proceeds will not only score you a great price on Newstead Brewing’s Session Ale and their small batch release, Digger’s Breakfast: Oatmeal Session Ale just for Anzac Day; but will also go towards helping more and more Australians and their families who deal with post-war effects on a daily basis.

Essendon vs. Collingwood

Dragons vs. Roosters

Storm vs. Warriors

You may notice that on Public Holidays there is a 15% surcharge on all meals. We pass this onto our staff, who are on full penalty rates as we adhere to award protocol. We value our staff as we do our customers, so alcohol is at its usual price.
